This early postcard, taken at the junction of Alexandra Road and the Main Road at Harwich, was taken around 1907.
The Dovercourt Y.M.C.A. was founded in July 1887 and operated from the local Mission Hall.
"Sea View" was purchased by the Y.M.C.A. in July 1904, with 5 bedrooms, 3 receptions, Kitchen and Hall, spread across the five floors (please note this is now private accommodation).
